I don't teach writing, I help professionals write more clearly, more quickly, and more effectively.  You don't have to be a professional writer or a gifted writer to be an effective writer—but coaching will move you farther and faster than floundering on your own.

How Coaching Works

I offer personalized coaching services by telephone or in person. You send sample projects or documents for me to review in advance, we talk about how the documents can be improved, and I send follow up reports by email after every call or meeting. I can work with a single person or with a small group, but individual attention brings greater improvement in less time.

Don't waste your time. We can work more effectively on real projects with real deadlines. I help clarify your needs, quantify your goals, and analyze your writing to build on strengths and minimize weakness with custom exercises and personal suggestions.

I can also provide follow up reporting for a specified period or ongoing project. Follow up reports are most useful for employers who need to track progress for in-house writers or non-writers who must rely heavily on written materials to communicate their ideas or findings.

Writing coaching is $75 per hour for one to five hours; discounts are available for six or more hours. Organizations can purchase blocks of coaching time to be divided among multiple writers. Advance deposit required on all projects.
